Mycelium Caverns
A downloadable game
A game made as a part of a school project at Hola Folkhögskola. It's short and unfinished, made for the purpose of self education and experimentation with the Unity Game Engine.
Synopsis:
You walk on a mountainous path, searching for your pilgrimage's destination.

This allowed me to get a better understanding of the following concepts:
- Practice the workflow for 3D projects in Unity.
- Implementing sound in a 3D environment.
- Understanding Unity's lighting, emission and light-map baking.
This prototype was developed as an introduction to 3D game development and was part of a 3D asset creation course. It’s essentially a walking simulator, designed to showcase a 3D scene featuring our own assets.
I used the project to familiarize myself with Unity’s lightmap baking process and to implement ambient sound effects that follow the player and change based on their location. I did this by having each area’s sound source follow the player while they remained within that area. This created a smooth fade-in/fade-out effect when transitioning between zones.
